Often when you have success it seems like an out of body experience, you get a rush of confidence as well as the modern form of flattery copious amounts or Facebook friend’s requests. Fame was fleeting and reality followed quickly when I was two outed in the WSOPE main event after 2 hours of play. The EPT London was better and I cashed 66 out of 750. Worked my way through a tough field only to be felled by a guy from Costa Rica who listening to loud music on his massive headphones failed to notice my shove pre flop and announced ALL IN. I was holding K8 suited on the button he flipped K2 and in true online style the 2 of spades was good enough to bust me. I thought for a 5K buy in I expected a certain type of professionalism.
I finished 13th in the GUKPT Blackpool and haven't played much since so I'm hungry and ready to pull it all together on September 11th Day 1. Funny but I feel like I'm gone win again, well I always do. Maybe lady Luck isn't a one trick pony.
I didn’t go to Vegas this year as the thought of three weeks away from my 6 year old son was difficult. I'll collect the bracelet next year.
See you in London
